Bali Best Coworking Spaces: Canggu Digital Nomads guide

Bali, especially Canggu, has become a popular place for digital nomads looking for good coworking spaces. It offers a comfortable lifestyle, reliable internet, and a welcoming community for remote workers. With many options available, choosing the right coworking space is an important part of digital nomad experience. Here’s my personal overview of some of the best options available.

Puco Rooftop – My personal favourite

Puco Rooftop is my favourite spot at the moment. It’s outside the main busy area, offering a relaxed environment and excellent views over the rice fields. The staff is friendly, and because it’s new, it’s usually quiet. It’s perfect for focused work. They also have comfortable seating and power outlets easily accessible at each workspace. If you enjoy a peaceful atmosphere with a beautiful view, this place I would recommend.

Highlights:

  • Budget-friendly prices
  • Calm and relaxed atmosphere
  • Beautiful rice field views
  • Not crowded

Tropical Nomad – Comfortable and Well-Equipped

Tropical Nomad is a bit pricier but provides good value with it’s facilities. It has comfortable workstations, air-conditioned meeting rooms, and a nice outdoor café. A downside is that you can’t simply buy a coffee and access Wi-Fi. You need a membership or day pass. It’s also conveniently located near many cafes and restaurants if you want to take breaks or have lunch nearby. Overall, it’s ideal for those who need a professional environment and are not necessarily on a budget.

Highlights:

  • Modern, clean workspace
  • Air-conditioned meeting rooms
  • Nice outdoor café area
  • Membership required for Wi-Fi
  • Quite pricy

BWork – Popular but Overcrowded

BWork is one of the most popular coworking spaces in Canggu, making it easy to meet people. It offers many facilities such as silent rooms and call booths, but it can feel very crowded. One good thing is you can access the Wi-Fi for 90 minutes just by buying a coffee in their café. It’s not as convenient as the rest of the rooms, but enough to get some simple tasks done. If networking is important to you, this space provides excellent opportunities, but it may not be ideal for those who prefer a quieter environment and cheaper options.

Highlights:

  • Many specialized rooms
  • Good for meeting other nomads
  • Can get very crowded
  • Short Wi-Fi access with café purchase

Tribal – Good Facilities with Flexibility

Personally it’s my second favourite option from Canggu coworking spaces. Tribal offers a good combination of coworking and coliving. It’s open-air, meaning there’s no air conditioning, but it has a pool and yoga area. You can use the workspace by spending at least 100k IDR for three hours or 200k IDR for a longer stay. The food and drinks available are quite good, making it easy to spend your minimum credit. It’s a nice choice if you’re looking to combine work with laid-down atmosphere.

Highlights:

  • Good mix of facilities
  • Flexible spending for workspace access
  • Pool and yoga facilities
  • No air-conditioning

AT 06 – Budget-Friendly with Extra Benefits

AT 06 is the most budget-friendly coworking option, with a day pass costing 150k IDR. You can use this amount as credit in their café, making it basically free to use. Facilities are not amazing (yet!), but sufficient for a regular day of work. It’s still being completed, so some areas aren’t open yet. It has an attached gym with discounts if you combine both services. While it’s still expanding, the available workspace is comfortable and spacious enough for daily tasks, and having both gym and coworking access in one place is very convenient.

Highlights:

  • Affordable prices
  • Café credit included with the day pass
  • Pool and gym on site
  • Still expanding
